The Meeting

The 27th Meeting of the EAU Section of Urological Research (ESUR21 Virtual) took place on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 October 2021. Again emphasising the interdisciplinary character of ESUR, the meeting was organised in collaboration with the EAU Section of Uropathology (ESUP).

The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) has accredited ESUR21 with 4 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Even if you missed the meeting, you can still get your CME points by registering for ESUR21 and watch sessions on demand. You will have until 8 January 2022, 17:10 CET, to (re)watch webcasts and sessions for CME credits in the “On Demand” section of the ESUR21 Virtual Platform. You can still access the content for three years after this time, but it will not be accredited anymore then.

Outstanding international experts delivered lectures on the exciting latest results from multiple studies into urological diseases. At ESUR21 Virtual, we tackled important urological research topics such as patient-derived and humanised models for translational cancer research, mechanisms of tumour progression and therapy resistance, new developments in pathology, and novel immunotherapic approaches and treatment combinations.
